The New Hampshire House has passed a bill that would make gay marriage legal. The bill still has to be approved by the Senate, but, if that happens, it is still not clear whether Democratic Gov. John Lynch will sign it. Lynch has previously stated his opposition to same-sex marriage. We call on governor Lynch to sign the bill (if passed by the Senate). It would be a good sign that Democrats not only talk the talk, but actually walk the walk on civil rights and liberties.
