GOP fear-mongering continues in the wilderness

May 1, 2009
The RNC launched an ad critizicing the Obama administration's national security policy. It seems GOPers are not willing to let the Guantanamo prison to be closed and torture to be ruled out. More fear-mongering from an increasingly reactionary party.

Specter: The right thing to do

April 29, 2009

In a shocking move, Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) announced on Tuesday his decision to switch parties and become a Democrat. Specter said he found himself "increasingly at odds with the Republican philosophy." One of the last moderate Republicans left in the Senate and in the Northeast, Senator Specter affirmed he was not willing to let the Republican primary electorate --which, after a massive diaspora of moderates to the Democratic Party, has become a minority of right-wing conservatives-- d...

April 20, 2009

The UK Lib Dems announced today that, if elected, they will cut the amount of income tax paid by lower and middle-income individuals by £700 a year. Watch the ad and look for yourself.

As you may expect, it didn't take too long for hun...

'Teabagging' = 'Insanitea'

April 14, 2009

Conservatives and Republicans are organizing "Tea Parties" across the country and sending tea bags to members of Congress to protest against "President Obama's tax increases" and government spending. No wonder it was them the ones who created the current massive deficit. But the funny thing about this "teabagging" idea is the notion behind it. These right-wing extremists believe that the Federal Reserve should be eliminated! They also seem to hate taxes just for the sake of hating taxes. Thi...
